Help Save Baby of Ms. Chatruveni and Srinivas : A Father's Plea for His Son Life

The baby was born prematurely at 31 weeks of gestation following a spontaneous vaginal delivery at home and was brought to Apollo Cradle, Jubilee Hills, on 07 September 2026 in a cold, clammy state with bradycardia and poor peripheral pulses. The baby was immediately resuscitated with positive pressure ventilation as per Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) protocols, following which the baby responded and was admitted to the NICU for further management.

At present, the baby continues to require CPAP respiratory support, intravenous antibiotics, intravenous fluids, nutritional support, continuous monitoring, and other supportive NICU care.

Considering the baby's extreme prematurity, very low birth weight and associated complications, the baby is expected to require a prolonged NICU stay of approximately 3-4 weeks, depending on clinical progress. The treatment involves substantial expenditure Costing Rs:15 to 20 Lakhs towards NICU care, medications, investigations, respiratory support, nutrition and other necessary medical interventions.
